Fabrica Machinale s.r.l. is a partner of the project co-funded by the Tuscany Region called FOMEMI – “photonic sensors and instruments for minimally invasive surgery” (project leader: El.En. S.p.A.), which aims to create a family of devices and innovative equipment for clinical applications, both therapeutic and diagnostic in the field of minimally invasive surgery in urology, breast surgery, neurosurgery and in the treatment of skin and diabetic foot ulcers.
In collaboration with highly technological specialized industrial partners (El.En. SpA, BB SpA) and qualified research organizations (University of Pisa – Italy, Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna – Italy), Fabrica Machinale will study and develop special beds to improve operator ergonomics and patient comfort during treatments and a static system in the form of an ankle boot which allows to treat a wounded foot of a diabetic patient by biostimulation with laser radiation.
